Philadelphia art students Abigail Kiefer and Emily McDonald use their art, especially their bodies to question the lengths women go to be beautiful.

This piece by Emily is made of sharp and dangerous shards of glass! REAL GLASS!
She reports that wearing the piece was extremely difficult and marred her skin.
Emily feels that the glass is a metaphor for the precarious trinkets, substances and rituals that woman endure for societal beauty.
Do you think women push it too far just to look and feel attractive?
